Black Queens are going to play better against Mali than South Africa- Jennifer Cudjoe
Black Queens assistant captain Jennifer Cudjoe is confident that Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team will play better in its second game at the 2024 Women’s AFCON than it did in its first outing.
Ghana lost 2-0 to South Africa and is scheduled to take on Mali next on Friday, July 11 at 16:00 GMT; the Black Queens need a win on Friday to maintain its chances of progressing to the next round of the competition.
Speaking at a pre-game presser in the presence of Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren, Cudjoe relished the opportunity to be part of the national setup and stated that the team will play better against Mali than it did against South Africa.
“It’s not going to be an easy game but I feel like for what we have and what we’ve prepared for and the way we play and how we progress game after game, we are going to come out and play better than we played in the first game so I’m looking forward to it” Cudjoe said.
