Ablekuma North Rerun: Chaos erupts at Odorkor Methodist polling station (VIDEO)
Confusion has erupted at the Odorkor Methodist polling station in the ongoing rerun at the Ablekuma North Constituency.
The New Patriotic Party’s candidate, Nana Akua Afriyie, and former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Hawa Koomson, were severely assaulted by some macho men on the ground.
According to eyewitnesses, the well-built men arrived with a planned mindset, prompting fear among voters and electoral officials alike.
Their unexpected presence was confusing, leading to a temporary suspension of the voting process as security personnel rushed to restore order.

Despite the augmented security measures implemented to ensure calm at the affected polling stations, the police struggled to maintain control.
Meanwhile, voting is currently underway in 18 polling stations in the constituency, while voting is still suspended at the Odorkor Methodist polling station.
Over 6,000 eligible voters are expected to cast their votes today at 19 polling stations within Ablekuma North.
