One of the five flagbearer hopefuls of the governing New Patriotic Party, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, has withdrawn from the race.
He announced in a statement on September 5, 2023, in which he indicated several incidents that occasioned the party’s Super Delegates Conference.
A scheduled press conference to address the nation on his political future was earlier cancelled.
