Ashantigold President Dr Kwaku Frimpong deny match-fixing claims

President of AshantiGold SC, Dr Kweku Frimpong has debunked claims of match-fixing but has sharp and accurate prophets who prophesy on his club’s matches.

The astute business mogul, together with his son, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Emmanuel Frimpong were both charged on three counts of misconduct for match manipulation in their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match-day 34 clash against Inter Allies at the Len Clay Stadium on July 17, 2021.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Champion, as he is known in the business fraternity, reckoned his stance and went ahead to blatantly state that he does not engage in betting but only has sharp prophetic eagle eyes prophets who speak the mind of God concerning their matches and do the needful both spiritually and physically to get good results at the end of games.

“I don’t do betting but rather I have prophets who prophesy on our game and give us results, and when I come out with the results, they say I engage in betting,” he stated.

“I don’t want to talk much on my case (Ashantigold/Inter Allies) because I trust GFA to do the right thing,” Champion added.
