Nigerian actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has issued a stern warning to some television stations in Ghana, accusing them of airing her movies without her consent.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress expressed frustration over what she described as repeated copyright violations.
She noted that while she had previously been open to dialogue and collaboration, the lack of accountability from the stations involved had made her reconsider her approach.
“That TV station in Ghana, I’m talking to you, don’t show my movies. I haven’t given you permission. Before, I used to say, ‘At least come to me, let’s discuss and share,’ but now, I don’t want your money. Don’t show my movies,” she said.

Ademoye, known for her roles in various hit Nollywood films, is the latest in a growing list of Nigerian filmmakers, including Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli, who have raised similar concerns about media houses in Ghana using their content without proper licensing.
She also called out several YouTube channels, including Ayodeji Films and Nolly Specials, for misleading viewers by using her image and name to promote unrelated content.
In a strongly worded message, she vowed to take legal action if the unauthorised broadcasts continued.
