Black Galaxies train at Prampram ahead of 2022 CHAN tournament
Black Galaxies have intensified training at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram in readiness for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament in Algeria next month.
Coach Annor Walker is currently training with a provisional squad which will soon be whittled down for the championship in the coming days.
Ghana is housed in Group C and will take on Madagascar on January 15 before playing Sudan (19th) and Morocco (23rd) in the other group C matches.
The Black Galaxies will be seeking to restore Ghana’s glory in the competition having played in two finals in 2009 and 2014.
Ghana will be featuring in the tournament for the first time in 8 years having missed out on the last three editions.
The tournament kicks off from January 13-4 February 2022.
For the first time in tournament history, 18 teams from the continent will compete for the ultimate.
