Black Queens have proven that they are on the right pathway- Kurt Okraku [VIDEO]

Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team has arrived in Ghana after finishing third at the 2024 CAF Women’s AFCON. The Black Queens mounted the podium in the continental championship for the first time since 2016.

The team returned to a raucous welcome by several stakeholders including the Chief Director at the Sports and Recreation Ministry Wilhelmina Asamoah.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku represented the GFA at the arrival where he spoke in the presence of GFA Vice President Mark Addo and praised the ladies stating,

“They have proven beyond reasonable doubt that they have the right levels of passion and they really want to defend the red, gold and green colours of our dear country.”

“This is the time for us to reward them. Their desire was to bring the trophy…but I think that they have proven that they are on the right pathway and given the right level of investments, they will bring glory to our dear country.”
