Black Stars: Mohammed Kudus in rarefied statistical air ahead of 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Early into his career at his new club Tottenham Hotspurs, Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus, continues to lead the elite dribblers in Europe’s best leagues.

The 25 year old who recently scored his first goal for Tottenham also has four assists to his credit in seven games played this season. Kudus has led the Premier League in this category in the past two seasons.

Ahead of Ghana’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic (C.A.R.) on Wednesday, October 8 at 16:00 GMT and Comoros on Sunday, October 12 at 19:00 GMT, Kudus is the only player to complete the most take-ons in Europe’s top five leagues thus far in the 2025-2026 season.

Kudus has completed 30 take-ons according to statistical platform Squawka to pace all players in the English, Spanish, Italian, German and French leagues.
