Bloggers only care about Slay Queens and irrelevant content – Tinny

Bloggers in Ghana seem to have great influence on the growth and visibility of stakeholders in the creative sector.

However, veteran hip-life artiste Nii Addo Quaynor popularly known as Tinny has expressed his displeasure at the quality of work being put out by these bloggers.

He is of the belief that they are using their influence wrongly, hurting the industry as a result.

“These bloggers now are not doing well because they are not pushing upcoming artists. All they talk about are slay queens, artistes beefing and negative stuff. When you are positive they won’t talk about you.”

“I did mention that I performed at the Independence Square and so did a lot of other artists who really did well, but after the show, the only things you find on the internet are stories about what Sarkodie and Stonebwoy did but others did equally well.”

“I can say whatever I want because no blogger out there is pushing Tinny, I do everything by myself,” he told Citi Showbiz on the sidelines of the 5th All African Music Awards.”

The ‘Makola Kwakwe’ hit maker appears to be staging a comeback into the industry with recent singles including ‘Logoligi’ which features Ponobiom.
