African leaders have long been subject to the imposition of Western powers, dictating policies and ideologies that often do not align with the interests of the African people.

Countries in the Arab world and the Middle East, such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia, have also been investing in Africa’s infrastructure, agriculture, and energy sectors.

African leaders should consider exploring these alternative partnerships and negotiate on equal terms. They should ensure that any policies and ideologies imposed align with their people’s beliefs and values and demand fair trade agreements that benefit their people. This would enable African nations to become more self-sufficient and free from the shackles of Western imperialism.
