The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Accra Sports Stadium to host inter-club competitions.

With Baba Yara Stadium currently undergoing renovations, Asante Kotoko and Bibiani GoldStars, who will represent Ghana in the 2025/26 CAF interclub competitions, are expected to play their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Asante Kotoko will face Nigeria’s Kwara United, while Bibiani GoldStars, the winners of the 2025 Ghana Premier League, will compete against JS Kabylie from Algeria.

According to CAF’s announcement, the only approved stadium in Ghana is the Accra Sports Stadium, which is not yet up to full standards.
