CAF U23 Qualifier: Barnieh Back For Meteors In Algeria Clash

Captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh makes a return to the Black Meteors CAF U23 AFCON U23 Qualifying match against Algeria after missing the first leg due to suspension.

The forward missed the first leg due to a red card he received in the last CHAN tournament.

He will start upfront for the Black Meteors on Tuesday and will have Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah as partners.

After yet another impressive performance in the first leg, Danlad Ibrahim retains his position in post for the national U23 team.

Ghana’s defence will be manned by David Oppong Afriyie and Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye on the right and left, respectively.

At the heart of the defence, Aaron Essel will once again partner Alex Sarfo Opoku.

Ghana will have Dominic Nsobila, Emmanuel Essiem and betPawa Premier League player of the month of February Abass Samari Salifu.
