Chilled hibiscus tea recipe

Ingredients

  • A litre of tap water
  • Two tablespoons of hibiscus tea leaves or two bags of hibiscus tea
  • A few glugs of sparkling water
  • Some ice to serve
  • Raw unpasteurised honey (optional)

Method

Step 1

Take a couple of tablespoonfuls of dried hibiscus (or two teabags) and steep in a litre of boiling water.

Step 2

Leave this to cool down to room temperature, then strain or take the bags out.

Step 3

Put the liquid in a glass bottle or jug and cool in the fridge until ready for serving.

Step 4

Serve with a splash of fizzy water and ice.
