Diawusie Taylor fulfils promise after finishing season as Goal King

Karela United elite gunman Diawusie Taylor has achieved his own target after finishing as the top scorer of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season, notching 18 goals.

The lanky forward ended the campaign with a goal in their narrow 2-1 defeat to Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium and guided his side to finish at the 8th position with 46 points.

The 21-year-old has been outstanding throughout the season and has also fulfilled his own target which was set prior to the commencement of the season thus to finish as the goal king which he just did- leading second-position Kwame Peprah with 6 goals.

The Karela hitman due to his stellar output earned a call up into the senior national team, Black Stars and also form part of the Black Meteors team who just recently went for a friendly tour in Asia.
Diawusie Taylor previously has already clinched the goal king in the country’s second-tier with Bibiani Gold Stars in the 2015/16 season with 24 goals while he also landed the same accolade in the Normalisation Committee special competition with six goals.
