Dramani picks positives despite Black Stars abysmal performance
Ghanaian coach Didi Dramani has picked positives from the Black Stars abysmal performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The West African powerhouse recorded their worse performance at the AFCON and their first exit in the group stage since 2006 after a defeat to Comoros on Tuesday.
The four-time African Champions suffered a 3-2 defeat to AFCON debutants on Tuesday at the Roumde Adjia stadium.
In an interview with Accra-based Hot FM, the former Asante Kotoko gaffer said there are positives to derive from the tournament despite the Black Stars uninspiring performance at the AFCON.
He picked Kamaldeen Sulemana and Fatawu Issahaku as revelations for Ghana.
“Football is growing and everyone is becoming a better team, if we don’t respect our opponents, such results are expected”
“But in a whole, there have been some positives to derive, for example, Kamaldeen Suleman and Fatawu Issahaku are revelations,” he said.
