The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released a new load shedding timetable expected to begin on Thursday, May 27 to June 11, 2021, in Accra.

The planned outage is to enable the completion of construction works on the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point.

The next phase of the outages will be during the evenings, from 6 pm to midnight, several areas will be affected and they have been grouped into three – A, B and C, for effective management schedule.

According to the Managing Director of ECG, Kwame Agyeman-Budu, Group A will experience the outage for six days while Groups B and C will have five days each.

He said this follows the successful implementation of a similar exercise that ended last week and enabled work to be completed on the Pokuase Bulk Power Supply Plant.
