Dutch star van de Beek ruled out of the Euros

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been forced to withdraw from the Netherlands squad for the European Championship.

The 24-year-old, who is currently nursing an injury, won’t be fit to represent his country in the big event.

‌This was contained in a statement that indicated that coach Frank de Boer would not be naming a replacement.

Van de Beek was on the bench for the recent 2-2 friendly draw with Scotland but had not been working with the main group in training.

The Netherlands will play all three Group C games in Amsterdam, facing Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia.
