Edward Akwasi Boateng to Launch Uber Service After Heeding Advice

Veteran gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng is taking a bold step into a new chapter; he’s getting ready to start an Uber service using a car gifted to him by Prophet ElBernard Nelson Eshun.

The singer, best known for his timeless song Makoma So Ade, shared in 2024 how life had become increasingly tough, forcing him at times to take loans just to stay afloat. After going public with his struggles, support poured in, including the donation of a car.

While that gift initially sparked a public exchange between Edward and fellow gospel artiste Diana Asamoah, who suggested he use the car for Uber services, he now says he sees wisdom in her advice.

“It is only a fool who does not listen to advice. I have accepted Diana Asamoah’s advice and I have the plan to use the Honda for Uber business any moment soon,” he told Tony Best on Akoma Mmre on Akoma FM.

But Edward’s Uber venture will have a unique twist. He says he doesn’t plan to operate like the typical ride-hailing driver. Instead, he hopes to offer premium services for special events, such as transporting wedding couples, guests, and even being available for funerals.

He explained that the constant financial pressure has led him to explore more practical ways of earning an income. Now, he’s looking forward to turning a difficult situation into an opportunity.

Edward’s story is a powerful reminder of resilience and how adapting to life’s challenges can open unexpected doors.
