Emmanuel Adebayor announces his retirement from football

Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor’s football career is now officially over. The 39-year-old former footballer announced his retirement from football in a video posted on his Instagram account on Monday. Adebayor had been playing for his country’s AC Semassi FC since the summer of 2021.
