Fans barred from match venues ahead of GPL second round kick off- GFA
The Ghana Football Association has rescinded its decision to allow fans into games the second round of the Ghana Premier League which kicks off this weekend.
The GFA had earlier permitted some clubs to have established stewards at their venues to admit 25 per cent of fans for matchday 18 which starts on Friday.
A statement released by the Ghana FA on Wednesday indicates that after consultations with the National COVID-19 Taskforce team, the decision to admit fans at the various stadia has been postponed.
The GFA says they will continue to monitor the situation to ensure a safer return of spectators to the various match venues.
