A taxicab with registration number GS 5842-20 collided with a KIA car with registration number GE 2368-22 resulting in the severe injury of five persons at Breman Essiam on the Essiam to Breman Fawomanye road in the Central Region
The accident happened on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
The Kia Truck was said to be driving in the middle of the narrow road at top speed and upon reaching a sharp curve on the road collided with the taxi.
The front tyre of the taxi car pulled out from the car and the back tyre of the KIA truck was also nearly removed due to the impact of the crash.
The taxi driver and five passengers are currently in critical condition.
The victims were rushed to the Breman Essiam Hospital for treatment.
The accident has been reported to the Nkwantanum Police for investigation.

On August 2, a KIA Grandbird with registration number AP-1986-22 collided with a trailer with registration number BF-2315-F103 resulting in the death of four people at Nkenkensu in the Offinso North District of the Ashanti Region.
Several others were rushed to nearby health facilities for treatment.
The KIA Grandbird was heading toward Techiman while the trailer was going to Kumasi.
