French side Angers offer €3 million to sign Ghana defender Abdul Mumin

French side Angers have made an offer to sign Ghana defender Abdul Mumin from Vitoria Guimaraes.

The center-back has been on the radar of some clubs in this summer transfer window.

Angers have already made two signings Miha Blazic and Cédric Hountondji in defense and are hoping to add the Ghana center-back to strengthen the team this season.

The Ligue I side is reported to have made an offer of €3 million (+€1 million bonus) to Vitoria Guimaraes which has been accepted by the Portuguese club.

Angers is expected to announce the signing and have him complete his medicals in the coming days.

The 24-year-old made 26 appearances for Vitoria Guimaraes last season.

Khalid was part of the Black Stars squad that qualified for the 2022 World Cup to be staged in Qatar.

He was also part of Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

Mumin played for Nordsjaelland before joining Vitoria Guimaraes in the 2020/21 season.
