Full text: Government responds to NDC MPs ‘false hope’ claims
The government has responded to claims by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), that it is only giving the Ghanaian public “false hope” in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the NDC MPs who addressed the media, the government was being economical with the truth when it said the country’s coronavirus situation was under control.
But in a rebuttal, Deputy minister for information, Pius Enam Hadzide rejected the assertions by the MPs saying, the minority’s claims were false and without basis.
