An auto mechanic at Adenta in Accra is in trouble after saving the life of a gay client, who was being attacked by a group of homophobic youth.
It was gathered that on that fateful day, the group had trapped a notorious homosexual known only as Robert, who had brought his car to the mechanic shop for servicing.
Witnesses say upon realizing the victim of the homophobic attack was his client, Mamudu Iddrisu intervened to help Robert escape, which action attracted the irate youth.
The sexual orientation of Mamudu was then called into question, with the majority indicating that he must be a member of the secret gay community which various youth groups in Ghana are fighting to eradicate.
The group then turned their guns on Mamudu, attacking his home. However, as at the time of filing this story, he was nowhere to be found.
We will keep readers posted as this story unfolds.
