GBF has to get on right path for sport to develop- Ex Ghanaian-British B’ball Player
Former Ghanaian-British Basketball player Matthew Bryan-Amaning has called on the Ghana Basketball Federation to get things on the right path for the sport to develop in the country.
He said this in an exclusive interview when he visited the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I reigning champions, Spintex Knights, at a training session.
Knights made history by becoming the first Ghana team to compete in the Elite 16 Stage of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), and Bryan-Amaning commended the team for all it is doing.
However, he switched his attention to the Federation and called on the body to put things right for the sport to develo,p stating,
“I think it is having the right people involved that’s going to help; get things on the right track sorting out everything that’s got to do with the Basketball Federation…so the talent is there, it’s just about obviously having the Federation wanting to get things on the right path.”
