The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has banned Nsoatreman FC from hosting their home matches at Nana Kronamansah Park.
This decision follows the acts of hooliganism displayed during the club’s Week 19 match against Asante Kotoko in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The violence and disorder that occurred during the league match on Sunday, February 2, resulted in loss of life, multiple injuries, and damage to property.
In a press release, the GFA emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the integrity of the game.
As a result, the GFA Executive Council has invoked Article 14(2) of the Premier League Regulations, prohibiting Nsoatreman FC from using Nana Kronamansah Park until further notice.
“The Executive Committee of the GFA has, with immediate effect, invoked Article 14(2) of the Premier League Regulations, by banning the use of the Nsoatreman FC home venue until further notice. This action ensures the safety of all stakeholders while investigations proceed,” the GFA said in a statement on its website.
