Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac submits provisional AFCON squad to GFA

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has submitted his provisional squad to the Ghana Football Association ahead of the team’s camping in Dubai later this month. 

The squad, according to close sources includes Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu and AS Roma prodigy Felix Afena-Gyan.

The team will be officially named before they leave Ghana for Qatar for pre-AFCON training.

The Black Stars will play Algeria in addition to two other friendly matches before flying to Cameroon for the tournament in January.

Ghana have been drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Gabon and Comoros Island.

The West African powerhouse are chasing a fifth AFCON trophy after last winning the tournament in 1982.

Milovan Rajevac will also name his final squad before the team emplanes Doula for the Africa Cup of Nations which begins on January 9 and ends on February 6, 2022.
