Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu considering AS Monaco departure
Ghana international Mohammed Salisu is considering exiting French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco as the summer transfer window approaches, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The Black Stars defender, who has mostly been used as a back-up option under manager Adi Hütter is currently planning about his future.
Salisu is growing frustrated at Monaco, having made just 24 appearances across competitions for the French club this season.
However, the former Southampton star is said to be eyeing a move away from Monaco as he seeks for regular playing time heading into the new campaign.
Salisu joined Monaco in summer 2023 signing a five-year deal with the Principality club.
Despite having a contract until 2028, the former Real Valladolid star could depart Monaco in search of playing time elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Salisu has yet to receive any concrete offer as the summer transfer window looms.
Since joining Monaco, the Black Stars defender has racked up 37 appearances, scoring three goals and an assist across the period.
