Ghana FA renegotiating deal with Access Bank for a contract extension

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has started talks with officials of Access Bank to extend its deal with the banking firm.

This has been confirmed by the Ghana FA in a communique on its website on Monday, May 29.

“The Director of Marketing of the Ghana Football Association Jamil Maraby has held successful talks with Access Bank over the extension of their mandate as official banking partners of the Association,” part of the communique said.

According to the communique, the meeting was held on Thursday at the headquarters of Access Bank in Accra.

The association explained that the successful engagement is set to see Access Bank extend their sponsorship with the GFA which will be a massive boost to the Division One League.

In addition to being the official banker of the Football Association, Access Bank is also the title sponsor of the Division One League.

As a sponsor of the Division One League, the bank has invested $250,000 in the League in the past year.

With Access Bank now negotiating a contract extension deal, it is proof that the Bank is committed to helping the development of football in the country.
