Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi made a terrific leap to punch out an Angolan goal-bound shot in the 18th minute. Ghana which won the first leg in Kumasi three days ago had come under heavy pressure on the return leg.

In the 44th minute, he again used his foot to block the ball from rolling to the path of two well-positioned Angolan attackers whose job would have been a simple tap-in.
