The Ghana Police Service has announced the deployment of officers across the country to ensure public safety during the 2025 Easter celebrations.
In a statement released on Friday, the Service said officers have been stationed at key locations including roads, highways, and communities nationwide to help maintain peace and order.
“Comprehensive security measures have been put in place nationwide to ensure a safe and peaceful 2025 Easter celebration,” the statement noted.
Special attention is being given to the Eastern Region, especially the Kwahu area, where large crowds are expected for the annual Paragliding Festival and other Easter events.
The Police added that specific arrangements are in place to cover all activities in Kwahu.
Citizens are being encouraged to support the initiative by staying alert and reporting anything unusual. “We urge everyone to be security conscious, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activities to the police,” the statement urged.
The Police Administration also shared a festive message: “The Police Administration wishes you a happy Easter.”
This increased security effort comes as public interest in holiday safety continues to rise, especially in popular event locations across the country.
