The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has exceeded the mid-year revenue target, an official statement has said.
GRA boss, Julie Essiam is expected to share more insights on the achievements next week.
In a statement on Friday (12 July), board chair of GRA Joe Ghartey commended the GRA boss, top management and staff for the “historic performance” despite the recent challenges in the economy.
“The chairman and board of directors of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) wish to congratulate the commissioner-general, top management and staff on their outstanding performance, in exceeding the 2024 mid-year revenue target.”
“The Commissioner-General, will be sharing more insights on these achievements next week at a media briefing and the Board calls on all valued stakeholders such as taxpayers, and the business community to provide GRA with the needed support to improve on revenue mobilisation,” the GRA statement said.
