Goalkeeper Richard Ofori turns down Orlando Pirates contract extension offer
Ghana international Richard Ofori has reportedly turned down contract extension offer from South African outfit Orlando Pirates.
The 29-year-old joined the Soweto giants in October 2020 on a three-year deal, with his current contract set to expire this summer.
Orlando Pirates are said to have offered the Ghanaian goalkeeper a two-year contract extension offer, but Ofori rejected the deal since it did not meet his expectations.
According to reports, the Black Stars goalkeeper has demanded for an increment before he puts pen to paper for an extension.
The Ghanaian goalkeeper will leave the club in the summer window if both parties refuse to reach a consensus.
Since joining the club in 2020, the enterprising goalkeeper has made 55 appearances, keeping 28 clean sheet and conceding 35 goals in the process.
