Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have unveiled members of its playing unit that will be part of the team’s contingent in South Africa scheduled to compete in the Toyota Cup.
Kotoko are set to take on South African giants Kaizer Chiefs in this year’s Toyota Cup on Monday, July 28 and the Porcupine Warriors have announced a 25 man list to compete in the game.
The squad announcement was made on Tuesday, July 22 and comes in the wake of Kotoko announcing its captains for the upcoming season. Congolese defender Samba “O’Neil”Gilbani has been named as the club’s captain.
Kotoko’s travelling party is headlined by the likes of goalkeeper Mohammed Camara, Peter Amidu Acquah, Emmanuel Antwi, Kwame Opoku, Albert Amoah and recently signed Zackaria Fuseini, Joseph Amoah and Lord Hilary Adabo.

Head coach Abdul Karim Zito, who had the interim tag on his role removed and replaced by a permanent deal that runs for two years, will lead the team in the pre-season friendly as Kotoko prepare to compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
