‘I Didn’t Mean To Offend Anyone; Forgive Me’- Yaw Dabo Apologises To Movie Lovers
Kumawood actor, Samuel Nana Yaw Dabo known in the entertainment industry as Yaw Dabo has personally rendered an unqualified apology to movie lovers for his unsavoury comment.
His apology came after the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) on Thursday, February 2, 2023, rendered an apology on behalf of their member Yaw Dabo for saying that only lazy people watch movies for more than an hour without doing any work.
Speaking to the media on Friday, February 3, 2023, Yaw Dabo apologised to the general public specifically movie lovers for saying only lazy people watch movies for more than an hour. According to him, he didn’t mean to offend anyone and the media also misinterpreted his comment by making it look as if he was reacting towards movie lovers as aimless people.
“I haven’t stopped acting. So, if I’ve said anything that offends anyone, I plead that they should forgive me. I didn’t mean to offend anyone because I had my own reasons,” Yaw Dabo apologized.
Yaw Dabo has promised to really explain what he meant by ‘only lazy people watch movies for more than an hour’ if he is given the opportunity to do so.
