I either stay objective on Sarkodie issues or go silent – Kobby Kyei

Kobby Kyei, an avid fan of rapper Sarkodie who is now a prominent personality in the blogosphere, has disclosed how he has been able to elevate his brand above fanaticism.

Responding to how he reacts to stories that go against Sarkodie, he noted that while in the past he would go all out to attack people on behalf of the rapper, he now exercises discretion in doing so.

“I love Sarkodie one hundred per cent but as a blogger, I am always careful to know the exact content to put out,” he told Kwame Dadzie on Joy.

“When I was a fan, I would always be on his defence, try as much as possible to defend but now I try to be objective and not to tweet, post or talk as a fanatic because a lot of people also don’t know the history of me being a Sarkodie fan. I’ve been able to grow into a brand where people know me not just as a Sarkodie fan. So I think that I’ve been very objective and anytime any Sarkodie issues come up it is either I stay objective or I don’t talk at all,” he further stated.

He is organising the maiden edition of a summit that is meant to educate people on the progressive portrayal of the media, technology and brand sustainability.

Dubbed the Shine Summit is slated for June 2, 2023, at the La Palm Beach Hotel.

It features speakers such as Tommy Annan Forson, Gifty Anti, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Anthony Dzamefe, Bola Ray, Portia Gabor, Bernard Kafui Sokpe (Mister Meister), Futurist Kwame and Wode Maya.
