“I still hold my promise to you” – Funny Face hints on naming his son after Adebayor
Despite the recent rift between them, comedian Funny Face has revealed he will name his unborn son after Togolese footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, the expectant father wrote “remember I promised to name all my children after you, even though things are not like they used to be between me and you, I still hold my promise to you”
“My unborn “ SON “ coming soon .. I’m naming him KELVIN ADEBAYOR BOATENG …. for life is for life bro 🔥✊ am really sorry”.
The friendship between the comedian born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng and the Togolese footballer went south after the former refused to heed to the footballer’s advice.
Adebayor had warned his friend (Funny Face) to drop all allegations and beef he had with his colleagues Kwadwo Nkansah, Bismark the Joke, Kalybos, and his ex-wife.
For his punishment, the footballer cut all ties with him including unfollowing him on all social media platforms.
But Funny Face in the post said he had regretted his actions and was hopeful that in time, the two will resolve their issues and mend their friendship.
“Am really sorry, women have caused me more harm than it can be repaired bro @e_adebayor bro am really sorry, things are not da same without you”
