I will be surprised if Ashgold wins the court case against GFA – Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe
Hearts of Oak board member, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has indicated that he is shocked Ashanti Gold SC are in court challenging the decision by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to demote the club to the National Division one League.
According to him, he expects the Obuasi-based club to lose the court case against the country’s football governing body.
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe said Ashanti Gold SC have no case.
“I am surprised they went to court because this is a clear case of a fraudulent act. They have no case; their behaviour was bad and I will be surprised, if judgement is given in their favour,” the Hearts of Oak board member shared.
Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamkloe further opined that the Ghana FA should have banned officials of Ashanti Gold SC when its Disciplinary Committee found the club guilty of match-fixing allegations against Inter Allies FC.
“The officials should have been banned completely from football,” Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe added.
