I Write Good Songs When I Am Heartbroken- Kwabena Kwabena
While brokenheart leaves many depressed and unable to function at their normal capacity, it rather fuels George Kwabena Adu popularly known in the showbiz industry as Kwabena Kwabena to churn out hit songs.
Kwabena Kwabena explained that he documents the emotional breakdown and the negative experience and transforms it into music which resonates with a many of his fans.
The musician pointed out that during such a moment, he is able to reflect on real-life issues which enables him to write from personal experience and that of what others might have gone through.
The ‘Bue Kwan’ hit maker said he is not surprised if people love to listen to his songs because the songs are relatable.
“The best time for me to write great songs is when I am heartbroken. So I love it. I love those moments. When it is all rosy, you don’t write great songs,” he said in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report on Joy FM.
Kwabena Kwabena in his previous interview with Delay claimed that he has not fallen in love before because he has not met someone he truly loves and vice versa.
According to the award-winning musician, he knows what love is but has not experienced how it is yet.
He asserted that he was too young to settle with a family since he was much interested in his career.
“I have never fallen in love. I have never experienced love. I know what love is, but I haven’t experienced it yet. Talking about marriage and not experiencing love, I will say, I was too young. I should have paid attention to my career and my life before choosing a partner who can help,” he noted in an interview with Delay.
Meanwhile, Kwabena Kwabena has set February 11, 2023, as the date to entertain his fans this Valentine’s day with more love songs by himself.
