I-ZAR Group CEO Rashida Saani nominated for Global Entrepreneurs Award
In another recognition of excellence, Rashida Saani, the dynamic Chief Executive of I-ZAR Group and The Ghana Report, has been nominated for the Global Leadership Award at the 2025 Global Entrepreneurs Award.
The astute entrepreneur was nominated alongside other influential global business leaders, including the leader of Enterprise Business for AMETCA at Logitech, Loubna Imenchal, Chief Executive of OA & J Pharmaceuticals, Jagdish Maheshwari and the Founder & Chairman of AL Galal Group, Ahmed Galal Eldin.
Ms Saani’s inclusion among global nominees highlights her influence beyond national borders. Her work reflects a deep belief in using business as a force for development, equity, and long-term transformation.
With a career rooted in vision and resilience, the young business mogul has solidified her place in Ghana’s business space.
Since founding I-ZAR Group in 2008, the powerhouse communication strategist has led its expansion across multiple sectors, including communications, real estate, IT, retail, hospitality, and media. Her leadership continues to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs.
The nomination recognises not just her business accomplishments, but her commitment to social impact.
Rashida is known for mentoring and funding young Ghanaians, especially women, helping them navigate entrepreneurship with confidence and purpose.
The Global Entrepreneurs Award forms part of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival, one of the biggest entrepreneurship gatherings scheduled for November 21 to 23 at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The event will be graced by the Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Founder of Crown Sterling Limited, Robert Grant.
The Award scheme stands as the ultimate symbol of prestige, celebrating a select group of the world’s most influential and transformative entrepreneurs and leaders.
Reserved exclusively for visionaries who have redefined industries, propelled economies, and shaped communities on a global scale, this award honours exceptional entrepreneurs for their outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship, leadership, economic development, and global impact.
This year’s edition will bring together over 10,000 participants, more than 70 countries, 60 global speakers, and 100 exhibitors.
Ms Saani’s new recognition comes after she received the Industrial Spotlight Award in the Private Sector at the Women’s Choice Awards Africa in November 2024.
The GCEO of I-ZAR was honoured with the esteemed award for her exceptional contribution to the industry through women’s empowerment and advocacy.
Among the awards she has scooped over the years is the 40 Under 40 Alumni Achievement Award.
This was a few years after being crowned with the First Among Equals Award by the 40 Under 40 Awards organisers.
In 2023, she was also crowned the winner of the 2023 Most Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 5th Northern Excellence Awards (NExA).
