The Ministry for the Interior has officially declared Thursday, May 1, 2025, as a statutory public holiday in honour of May Day, also known as Workers’ Day.
This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, on Friday, April 25, 2025.
The public is encouraged to observe the day across the country in line with Ghana’s holiday regulations.
