Isaac Dogboe returns to the ring in April against Enrique Bernacheon

Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogboe, returns to the boxing ring on April 11, in Albuquerque, USA, when he faces Mexican Enrique Bernacheon.

This will be the Ghanaian boxer’s opportunity to record a win, since losing his world title to Emmanuel Navarette in two consecutive fights in December 2018 and May 2019.

Dogboe, who recently moved to the United States of America, is reported to be preparing well for the bout. He faces lots of pressure to win this fight, to increase his chances of another title shot and possibly become a world champion for the second time.

Confirming the news, father and former trainer, Paul Dogboe, told TV Africa that they(Dogbe and his trainers) were preparing to ensure Dogboe had a successful return under his new trainers, Barry Hunter and Patrice Harris.

“ Isaac Dogboe is in good condition under his new trainers in Florida and I can tell you that they are working tirelessly to ensure he makes a successful return to the ring.

“I believe he is in good hands with the new trainers and I can tell you that everything has been put in place to make him a two-time world champion,” he explained.

Meanwhile, his opponent Bernacheon comes into the fight with a record 36 fights to his credit, with 24 wins and 12 defeats which includes his last two bouts.
