J.A Kufour SHS ready for placement – GES
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the readiness of J.A Kufour SHS school for this year’s computerized school selection and placement system (CSSPS).
The school named after the former president is located at Sokoban, a suburb in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.
In a letter signed by its Deputy Director-General, Anthony Boateng, the service called on the National Coordinator of the Free Senior High School (FSHS) to include the school into the public system as a day school.
“Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform you of the completion of a new school (J. A Kufour Senior High School) located in Sokoban, Kumasi.
“All structures are completed and therefore the school is ready for the 2020/2021 placement,” part of the letter read.
Earlier in December 2019, President Akufo-Addo cut the sod for the commencement of the school.
The school will offer programs including Business, Home Economics, and General Arts.
