Ghanaian duo Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew have signed new deals with Premier League club Crystal Palace, according to The Athletic.

The contracts of both players were set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season, in June 2023.

Schlupp has been at Crystal Palace since 2017, having joined from Leicester City, while Ayew initially joined the Eagles on loan from Swansea City during the 2018/19 season and signed permanently the following season.

Schlupp’s current deal has a one-year extension option set to expire at the end of the season, which has been triggered. The duo has been key for the Selhurst Park outfit with their versatility.

Jordan Ayew has played 28 Premier League games for Crystal Palace, scoring one goal and creating one more. Meanwhile, Schlupp has played one game less and scored two goals.

Jordan was in action for the Black Stars in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying doubleheader against Angola but Schlupp has not played for Ghana in almost two years.
