Joselyn Dumas appointed deputy director for Diaspora Affairs

Actress and media personality Joselyn Dumas has been appointed as the Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.

Her new role will be assisting Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), who was appointed Director of Diaspora Affairs last week. Obuobia Darko-Opoku confirmed KOD’s appointment in a Facebook post on February 26, 2025.

Joselyn Dumas’ appointment further reinforces the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Ghanaian diaspora, fostering investment, and promoting cultural and economic collaboration.

With her extensive experience in media, entertainment, and advocacy, she is expected to play a key role in engaging the diaspora community and driving initiatives that benefit both Ghanaians abroad and the country.
