Tunisian giants Esperance will have to pay €300,000 to secure the services of Diawisie Taylor after expressing interest in the Karela United striker, footballmadeingghana.com can reveal.
The former CAF Champions League winners earlier this week officially wrote to Karela FC expressing interest in the striker who has been on fire in the Ghana Premier League.
Karela United FC responded positively to the letter and have opened negotiations with Tunisian giants over the possible transfer of Diawisie Taylor.
At the birth of negotiations for the striker, Karela have asked Esperance to pay €300,000 for the services of the striker.
The Beast of Africa is expected to respond to Karela’s asking price by the close of the week to ensure successful negotiations for the transfer of Taylor.
Taylor is expected to fly to Tunisia for his medical immediately after the clubs agree on a deal.
Taylor, who is currently leading the Ghana Premier League goal king chart with 13 goals is expected to inject the Esperance attack with his creativity and goal-scoring magic.
Taylor will become the 4th top striker to depart the GPL in the middle of the season following the departure of Daniel Lomotey of WAFA, Kwame Opoku of Kotoko and Joseph Esso of Dreams FC.
