Kofi Kinaata cancels ‘Made in Tadi’ concert
This year’s annual ‘Made in Tadi’ show has been cancelled due to the global pandemic, coronavirus.
“Plans were far advanced for the virtual edition but due to circumstances beyond our control, we regretfully call off this year’s edition of the ‘Made in Tadi’ Concert” a statement from his management read.
Announcing the cancellation, the headline artist of the yuletide concert, Kofi Kinaata said he had had to cancel a lot of shows this year due to the virus.
All these shows would have fetched me money but unfortunately, because of the pandemic I had to cancel them” he said on 3FM.
The rapper, however, raised concern on how sensitisations on safety protocols are not intensified.
“The virus is still living among us” he added.
The rapper was most tipped to receive this year’s VGMA Artiste of the Year but lost out to Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene.
