Kotoko appoint coach David Ocloo and John Eduafo to deputize head coach Prosper Narteh

Asante Kotoko have announced the appointment of coaches David Ocloo and John Eduafo as their new assistant coaches.

The duo takes over from Johnson Smith and Abdulai Gazale who were deputies to former coach Mariano Barreto, who ended his stay with the club over the weekend.

David Ocloo, who previously worked as head coach of Liberty Professionals and John Eduafo, who was part of Inter Allies’ technical team last season, will be working as assistants to newly appointed Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum as the team prepare for the start of the 2021/2022 football season.

Management of the Kumasi-based club made the official announcement through its official Twitter page on Monday.

“We are glad to announce that Coach David Ocloo and Coach John Eduafo have joined our newly appointed Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as Assistant Coaches.

“Welcome, gentlemen,”

The new coaches of the club will later this afternoon take charge of the team’s first training session in pre-season at the Adako Jachie grounds.

The two time African champions are hoping to better their performance after going trophyless in the last season.
