Kwesi Arthur eulogises Muhammad Ali in new song ‘Pain Interlude’
Ghanaian rapper Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, known in showbiz as Kwesi Arthur, has released a new song accompanied by boxing visuals to honour the late American boxer, Muhammad Ali.
The song is titled ‘Pain Interlude’ and was produced by A SWXG.
Muhammad Ali was regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers in the United States of America.
In the 3 minutes, 5 seconds video, Kwesi Arthur narrated how Muhammad Ali, who sadly passed on in 2016, fought all his battles with zealousness without giving up at any point in his life.
In the lyrics, he stresses: “No pain, no gain,”.
While lamenting betrayal by friends who have turned into foes, he confesses, “I played with fire and got burned.”
He quickly adds a thought that perhaps rings true for every human: “Sadly, it’s the only way I fit [can] learn.”
