Luis Suarez to be handed heavy punishment for spitting on opponent [VIDEO]

Uruguay football star Luis Suarez has added the latest controversy to his decorated career after he was caught on tape spitting at a member of the Seattle Sounders in the MLS League Cup Final.

The veteran striker for Inter Miami was incensed with Sounders player Obed Vargas after Inter Miami lost 3-0 in the cup game final and grabbed Vargas by the neck that sparked a melee.

Suarez went on to spit at a member of Seattle’s technical staff while players from both sides clashed in the game that had Inter Miami concede two goals in the 89th minute and in added on time.

Suarez and fellow former Barcelona player Lionel Messi played out the entire duration of the contest with Messi missing out on winning his second Leagues Cup title.

Uruguay international Luis Suarez was charged for racially abusing Manchester United player Patrice Evra in 2011 and bit Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
